Weekly Photo Challenge: OBJECT(s)
These are rusting memories of broken objects of our wishes and desires.
Now abandoned and enveloped in their defiance, they dream for reincarnation (via recycling) and to become again – objects of our wishes and desires.

Your recent post brought to mind my attached photo from 7 years ago.
Outside the Oak Ridge National Laboratory museum in Oakridge TN stands replicas of the NYC twin towers made from the destroyed steel of those buildings after 9/11.
It’s prophetic that they stand in Oakridge, created during WW2 and known as the secret city, which is where the atomic bomb was created. Grim reminders forever etched in memories.

Hello Vince,
You made me very happy with your response to this post. Many thanks!
As always you understood my point, and I am sorry that your photo could not be included in the comment – no photos can be included in the comments. So I am glad that you sent me that photo via e-mail anyway! Thank you. I will try to use it in one of my future posts with reference to your comment since your information in it is of great importance.
Meantime keep warm! We are having plenty of sunshine that keeps us warm in Tucson. So far no snow over here, and I have to admit that I do not miss it!
With my best regards,
Alicja
